Day 5

getting close to the end. tomorrow will be my last day on the lemonade. im kind of disappointed. i could have done this much longer. but saturday is valentines day and we have reservations for this 3 course dinner and wine tasting, so i better get my body ready for that.

friday i will prep myself with drinking o.j. the first half of the day. vegetable broth that night and then a veggie stew for dinner. i should be able to eat some cooked veggies on saturday. maybe some brown rice and eggs as well.

i think that should help get me ready. i plan on taking it easy during dinner and the wine.

we are remodeling our bathroom, it looks amazing! you could fit like 6 people in that tub! and i plan too, lol. jk. actually, that is where i plan on spending most of that evening after the ballet...

oh, back to the fast. today was my best day, i had the most energy, my body feels really good. thats why i wish i could do it longer. i think i will do it again in a month, but for the entire 10 days next time.

peace

DAY 3

i wanted to post yesterday, but was too busy all day.

staying busy is a good thing on this fast.

i went out to whole foods to do some shopping yesterday and didnt take any lemonade with me, huge mistake.

as soon as your hungry you need to have a lemonade handy.

then a couple times i had some stomach issues, but pretty insignificant. we are going to do this for 7 days rather than 10, altho they suggest 10 days.

but we will start back slowly. so on friday we will start drinking fresh squeezed O.J. so saturday we should be ready for broth and sunday ready for veggie stew.

oh and just for fyi, i am doing this fast because of chronic pain.

today is the first day i have noticed a little difference in how i feel. less sluggish, a little more energy. my pain level previously had been hovering at around an 8/9 over the past few days. today i notice a little difference. around a 7/8. hoping it keeps getting better.

Day 1

first i convinced my husband to read about this cleanse and agree to do it with me. so that it would be easier to stick to.

http://www.healthandlight.com/TheMasterCleanse.pdf

we went and bought everything we needed at publix to get started

  • 15 organic lemons
  • grade B 100% pure molasses
  • organic chocolate smooth move herbal stimulant laxative and the plain one too (had to get these at krogers)
  • cayanne pepper (which i realized i didnt need so much)
  • hand juicer
  • 3 / 24 packs of spring water

we had our last dinner from pan asia... one of our favorite places to eat right here in roswell
http://www.panasiaasianbistro.com/

i had a tofu dish, wes had chicken, and a lemon grass dish... yum

i dont eat meat but i occasionally eat fish.

that night before bed i put 2 tea bags of the laxative tea into my coffee (tea) pot and brewed almost a whole pot. so the laxative effect wouldnt be too harsh.

we pre-made some lemonade drinks.

we ate our last meals, drank our tea and went to bed.

i take prescription medicine. ive decided to stay on two of them, but just cut the dosage down. i think anyone on medication should consult a doctor before making a decision.

after my first lemonade i realized that i didnt need the full amount of cyanne pepper the recipe suggested. the next bottles i added it (to taste).

its 3:38pm saturday feb 7th. ive had 4 bottles of lemonade. and im contemplating getting another one right now.

i feel a little sluggish right now.
